How to Return items to us for Exchange, Credit, or Refund

At National Tool Warehouse/Tool Professional, we strive to make your purchasing experience as pleasant and easy as possible, and that includes making it easy for you to return a product to us, for any reason. We ask only that you follow these simple procedures:

1. The returned merchandise must be new, complete and in its original packaging.
2. The return must be made within thirty days of receipt of your order.
3. Please securely pack the product, including a copy of the return authorization email sent to you and write the RGA number on the outside of the shipping box, not the product box.
4. Send it shipping and insurance charges prepaid to the address we will provide to you in the return authorization on the bottom right-hand corner of the form. It is helpful to get a tracking number in case the carrier loses the package.

PLEASE NOTE, YOU MUST RETURN TO THE ADDRESS PROVIDED ON THE RETURN AUTHORIZATION FORM AND NOT THE RETURN ADDRESS ON THE SHIPPING LABEL WHICH IS OUR CORPORATE OFFICE. OTHERWISE, WE WILL DEDUCT THE ACTUAL FREIGHT CHARGE TO RETURN THE PRODUCT TO THE WAREHOUSE FROM ANY CREDIT DUE YOU.

What is your return Policy?

If, after receiving and inspecting your purchase you are not totally satisfied, simply return the merchandise to us within 30 days of order, shipping prepaid, for a full refund of your purchase price less freight provided the product is still in brand new condition.  There is no restocking charge unless the item was special ordered and not normally stocked in our warehouses.  Delivery charges are not refundable. The returned merchandise must be new, complete, and in its original packaging. We cannot issue a credit or refund for any product that is returned to us that has been used or altered, or has any missing parts or packaging.  Any electronic scanners and other electronic equipment once opened, used, uploaded, or registered in any way cannot be returned for a refund.  Before returning your product, you must contact Customer Service either by e-mail at jenaj_ntw@sbcglobal.net or by phone at 1-866-358-1919 (US) or 1-417-358-1919 (outside US) in order to receive a RGA Returned Goods Authorization form.  That form is your approval to ship the product back to the address given on the bottom right-hand corner of the form.  Shipping to the corporate office in Missouri or any unauthorized address outside that address given on the RGA form could result in a lessor credit being issued.  If you refuse a product upon delivery any return freight costs will be deducted from your credit.

We also reserve the right to limit quantities on certain products. National Tool Warehouse reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order on which the product price is found to be incorrect.  If a credit card has already been charged for the order, National Tool Warehouse will issue a credit to the card for the amount charged.

It is the responsibility of the customer when signing for deliveries to make sure the product is free from visible damage prior to signing or such damage/shortage must be noted in writing with the freight carrier before accepting shipment.  Otherwise, National Tool Warehouse customer service will assist the customer in filing the freight claim for reimbursement from the carrier but any possible loss will be incurred by the customer.
