4Does the job  Mar 02, 2010
By Bill
After a little furniture assembly project where I ended up making extra trips to the tool shed only to return with the wrong socket. I decided it was time to organize. I got this as well as a 1/2" and 1/4" rack. They work well enough. The slots aren't labeled and not all the sockets fit like it was made for them because different socket brands and grades have different wall thicknesses. I didn't dock points for that. It did lose a star because in my haste I didn't notice I was only getting 1(red)rack but the picture shows 2(red & green). I figured metric & standard for the most commonly used 3/8" sockets. Way to fake me out guys. My fault for not reading more carefully but doesn't keep me from feeling burned a little.

2Misrepresentation  Dec 21, 2011
By gshafer
I had been looking at this on the Sears site and there were two of them in the set. I come here and find the same set apparently but for less money. Well, I guess not since all I received was the red one when I ordered. If you are going to put an image on here of the product make sure it is represented correctly.

4Good but not great  Sep 19, 2011
By Jim
Like many people, I've struggled with the best way to store my sockets so that they fit in my tool chest, are easy to take out as a set, and are easy to see and pick. I tried this holder and so far I am happy with it but do have a couple concerns. First, the size of the grooves don't exactly fit my set of Craftsman sockets. I did have skip a slot which I don't really like. Also, I tried to stick it to the side of my tool chest (just to check out how it would work) and 2 sockets fell out. The magnetic power is good but not great. I've only had this a couple weeks and so far I like that I can grab both my standard and deep sockets at the same time as a double set and take it over to where I am working in the garage and I like that they lay down flat in a tool chest drawer. There are pros and cons to this product but I hope my comments help you decide.

4Good, but not great  Jan 06, 2009
By J. Brown
This is nice because it will hold regular and deep sockets in one rack. It also fits in a shallow drawer so you can save your deep drawers for other stuff.

I'd like to see some kind of labels and it would also be nice if the cups for the sockets were a little better designed to allow a broader range of sizes, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

4Pretty good socket holder  Jan 30, 2012
By R V
Like my review on the 1/2" and 1/4" socket holders. This is a pretty good socket holder and it seems to hold the sockets pretty securely by the magnets. The only issue I have is some of the sockets spaces seem to be a touch to small to hold the sockets and that can leave a gap in spaces to the next correct size. The tools I own are top professional tool brands ( United States domestic made tools )
