Description:

Beam Torque Wrench (0-60 In/Lbs 1/4" Dr.) This wrench directly measures a variety of torque values when tightening fasteners. Pointer moves clockwise or counterclockwise (+/-4%) to measure torque in English and metric. Satin finish scale reduces glare. Inch-pound models feature ball-type handles that localize force, ensuring accuracy. Foot-pound version has a comfortable palm-fit handle to provide a natural grip for a smooth, accurate pull. Palm-fit handle pivots on beam to maintain constant distance from drive point to load point for precise measurement. Wrench is a serviceable product that can easily be calibrated by bending pointer to zero before use.

5Works great!  Jan 01, 2010
By Bion T. Rogers
Typical beam torque wrench. Well made, Great quality. No issues at all. Like previous purchaser, the indicator was a little off. But, as with all the beam wrenches I have used for the past 35 years, I just bent the indicator rod a little to bring it to zero. That is the way they are used. They never need to be calibrated other than that. Learn how to use your tools.

5Great Tool - Fast Delivery  Jul 13, 2010

Another one being used to set pinion bearing preload... works great. I calibrated at work (using NIST traceable masters) and it was right on, as expected. After all beam deflection is very predictable.

5Great deal on precision tool  Jun 12, 2009
By R. Sube
I bought this as a gift for my husband. He needed a fine instrument to set up the rear differential in the vehicles that he fixes. It was perfect and it worked perfect. Great deal and best of all...it was made in the USA!!!

Purchased to use when working on my competition benchrest rifles. Happy with it and compact enough to fit in my travel tool case.

5Excellent Tool  Oct 26, 2011

This thing works great as it is accurate and consistent. One review downgraded the tool because the pointer was not at zero. This is a "Beam" type Torque Wrench so all you have to do is flex the pointer slightly until it rests where you want it. During operation only the bottom Beam flexes moving the scale and the pointer does not move. If you need an accurate torque wrench for small parts buy this one and it will serve you well for many years to come.
