It does just what it says it does. The single best thing is it measuring CCAs directly on a battery, which is the only way to really determine battery condition.
A few issues that I have with it: first, the on-screen instructions aren't very intuitive, so you really have to have the manual along to describe the sequence you need to go through (especially with alternator & starter tests).
Second, it won't work as a straight voltmeter - which would be nice at times.
Third, the memory only holds one test. So if you want to print out results of the CCA test, the alternator test, and the starter test to keep with a vehicle maintenance record, you have to print each before doing the next.
