 Paint Shaker really shakes!! Aug 21, 2007

I didn't know exactly the mechanism used to shake the paint. I knew it was air driven, but with how much force. Well, I can say that if you plan on using it as a table top shaker, forget it. Even if you bolted it down to the top of your bench, it would shake everything off the table. With 100 psi of air driving the piston, this baby shakes, rattles and rolls, literally.
I don't have the room in my shop to mount it to a stand that was bolted to the floor, so I opted to mount it to the bottom of my large drill press. Works great. The drill press weighs around 400# so it doesn't move at all. For the money it works as long as you can find a suitable heavy object to mount it to.

The price was the main selling point for us purchasing this item and after the speedy delivery we found the product to exceed our expectations. We have our own mixing system and this item is used for at least 3 hours a day and is fault free to date would recommend to any one !

This paint shaker works real well and is at a great price.. the only thing negative i would say about it is that the vibration from the machine causes you to have to attach it to a table or surface that youre not going to need other things on.. the vibrations caused by it make everything on the table move.. the flexibility of being able to shake varying sizes of paint cans and the ease of inserting and removing is another plus.. all in all its really great!Astro Pneumatic 4550 Air Operated Paint Shaker

The paint Shop here needed a new shaker. This one came very fast (ahead of the delivery date expected!) and it works great.
